Experiments on Atomic Nuclei at their Extremes

General Information:

Modern nuclear physics studies nuclei at their extremes. A summary on these extremes and the experimental methods to explore these nuclei was given by the intensive week main speaker. In addition, current experimental achievements with exotic nuclei and information on future projects around the world were discussed.
In the afternoons, four experts have given talks on specific topics (see below) and shared some of their rich experience. On Thursday afternoon an interesting "hands-on" hour was organised by Alfred Dewald and the Cologne Plunger group.
