Prototypes
This picture taken from an early australian promo comic shows one of the most interesting prototypes in the Rock Lords line. The figure is the one later released as "Pulver-Eyes", but painted in blue, with red eyes, and with the name "Rockmite". Originally Brimstone was planned to be released as "Pulver-Eyes", but this plan was cancelled, as well as the original sculpt design for Brimstone/Pulver-Eyes. The Rockmite character probably looked too dark in his blue colour to be with the good guys, so the Bandai designers probably opted for a lighter color. The only remmnant of the original "Rockmite" concept probably lies in the rock type that is assigned to Pulver-Eyes in his filecard : "Domite".
