Second Circular
This is the second circular for CGS-13, the 13th international Conference on Capture Gamma-Ray Spectroscopy and Related Topics, to be held from 25th to 29th of August, 2008 at the University of Cologne in the City of Cologne, Germany. The conference themes include current topics in Nuclear Structure, Nuclear Symmetries, Nuclear Reactions with stable as well as radioactive ion beams, Nuclear Astrophysics, Tools of Nuclear Science from instrumentation to facilities, as well as Applications of Nuclear Science.
The last meeting of the series, CGS-12, was held in Notre Dame, USA in 2005.

The regular and the student registration fee include lunches every day, refreshments at the coffee breaks and the poster session, the banquet, the excursion, and a copy of the proceedings. The companion fee includes lunches every day, the banquet and the excursion.
Abstracts
The abstracts of all the contributions accepted for presentation at the meeting will be collected
in a volume and distributed to each participant at beginning of the conference.
The abstract submission (including correction of submitted abstracts) is possible at
http://www.ikp.uni-koeln.de/cgs13/abstracts/ until 30th April 2008.
Proceedings
The proceedings of the conference will be published by AIP. Detailed instructions for authors as well as templates in LaTeX or MS Word are available online at: http://proceedings.aip.org/proceedings/authors.jsp where you should select the 6 x 9 inch format. The manuscripts will be collected during the time of the conference 25-29th August 2008. Invited talks will have up to 8 pages, oral contributions will have up to 5 pages, and poster presentations will have 2 pages.
