Mfile is a library developed by Stefan Esser as diploma thesis for the IKP for system independent reading and writing of n-dimensional spectra (n 4). It provides a compressed spectra file format called lc (line compressed). The compression algorithm codes the differences of succesive channels in 4 bits.
