Between 1986 and 1987, the Tonka corp. made a 45 Million Dollar turnover with Rock Lords. In 1986, the Rock Lords made 9,5 % of the total turnover of the company, in 1987 it was 4%. The turnover in Rock Lords dropped by 50% in the second year, but it outperformed the GoBots by 5 million Dollar ! But because more profit was seen in other toylines, the Rock Lords series was discontinued.
